Approach

Every project starts with the story.As a Re-recording Mixer and Sound Supervisor, I build clarity, space and emotion into every soundtrack while keeping the workflow structured, allowing creative decisions to remain focused and intentional.To me, audio post-production is about far more than technical precision. It’s about using atmosphere, rhythm and emotion to serve the story.During the mix, I focus on how dialogue sits, how space is shaped and how dynamics support the performances on screen. The goal is always to create mixes that feel clear, immersive and emotionally connected to the picture.I keep workflows organised and efficient so the technical process remains predictable, leaving room for confident creative decisions.Collaboration is central to my approach. I work closely with directors, producers and post-production teams to develop a clear sonic vision while maintaining a calm, efficient and enjoyable working environment throughout the mix.

Alexander Fielding is a UK-based Re-recording Mixer, Sound Supervisor and ADR Mixer working from London, with over 20 years’ experience across film, television, animation, documentary, trailers and interactive media.Working in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround and stereo, Alexander provides final mixing, ADR recording, dialogue editing and full audio post-production services for scripted and unscripted content. His approach focuses on supporting story, performance and atmosphere, with an emphasis on clarity, balance and emotional intent.Alexander works closely with directors, producers and post-production teams to create carefully crafted soundtracks within a calm and collaborative environment where detail matters. He works from his own dedicated studio and also collaborates with established post-production facilities and sound teams in London, Manchester and Cardiff. A trusted network of freelance specialists allows workflows to scale according to the needs of each production, supporting both remote and facility-based audio post-production pipelines.His credits include productions for broadcasters and platforms including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, HBO, PBS, AMC, FX, Netflix, Amazon, Disney and Sky.
